Naomi Roberts at last receives a scholarship for a semester abroad in Maine. Finally having arrived in Maine, Naomi enjoys her student life with new friends and her first love, Roman. She remembers the prophecy of her grandmother, as she feels magically drawn into a mysterious glade in the woods; believes she’s being watched and starts to sleepwalk. CristinaG - This is the book that has turned me into a fantasy books reader. Hard to put down, the action is set in the today's present world as opposed as in some made-up world. This makes you identify completely with Naomi, the young woman who turns into a panther unexpectedly on a full moon night. This is one story I would definitely go to see at the big screen.
An exciting read, the author manages to develop the characters and speed the story at the same time.
Fast action, entertaining and with some unexpected twists that will make you want to read more from this author.

Cloudhopper - Naomi is a German exchange student who spends a semester in a local university in Maine. At first her experiences are rather ordinary, she gets to know the territory, make new friends and even meets her first love. One night at full moon her whole life changes due to mysterious happenings. The book is a fun read and hard to put down.

Ute - This fantasy story is fabulous and extraordinary because the leading character; Naomi. She is a modern young woman and lives in the present time. Most of other fantasy stories lead the reader through a unreal world or the story plays in the past. The idea that the story happens now in our modern technical world gives the story a special atmosphere. As well it is impressive how the author describes the transformation to a panther. It seems that the author enjoyed writing and as well the reader will be exited about. I like the book and Naomi very much and I am keen to see how the story will go on.
